Individual Counseling
Deciding to attend therapy can be both exciting and scary. For many talking to a stranger about your problems feels uncomfortable. On the other hand, it can provide a sense of relief when you realize that your therapist is not there to judge or give a biased point of view during the session.
During your first meeting, you can expect individualized attention to determine your presenting problems, strengths, needs, and determine an appropriate set of goals. At Woosley Counseling LLC., our therapists will take time to build rapport and ensure it is a good match between the clinician and the individual. Our therapists may use techniques during this time that are evidence-based and backed by research to provide you with the quality care you deserve.

Jennifer is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She has been practicing mental health therapy for over 14 years. It all started in Nashville, Tennessee, at the YWCA, working with victims of domestic violence. From there, she had an opportunity to develop her skills in Community Mental Health, where her youngest client was two, and her oldest was 98. She saw many different needs and grew her clinical craft during that time. As an assistant clinical director, she moved on to Acute Care, serving young adults with high-risk needs. During this time, she took an incredible opportunity to work with the Department of Defense, providing counseling services to military members and their families. It was a true pleasure of hers to serve those who serve. This time spent serving clients at Fort Knox sparked Jennifer’s strong desire to establish a private practice. It started with one client and grew to a full caseload. She is not only skilled in helping clients explore their therapeutic goals, but she also absolutely loves the work she does. Jennifer helps people reach those goals and improve their overall well-being. When Jennifer is not working, she enjoys time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, especially abroad. She has recently picked up the sport of pickleball.
